# altomic.ai > Private AI intake assistants for estate planning, probate, trust administration and elder law firms: after-hours written responses, firm-defined screening and human review. Channels, integrations and scheduling are confirmed for each firm before launch. **Founder:** Mohamed Abdi **Domain:** https://altomic.ai **Contact:** https://altomic.ai/#book **Category:** Legal intake automation for estate planning and probate law firms ## Who we serve (and only who we serve) We work with one market: **estate planning, probate, trust administration and elder law firms.** We do not serve general practices, personal injury, real estate brokerages, insurance, or accounting as a primary engagement. We occasionally take adjacent work — trust litigation, or tax advisory alongside an existing estate engagement — but the product is built for estate intake and nothing else. Typical fit: a boutique or mid-size firm with an enforced asset or matter minimum, 40+ inbound inquiries a month, and Clio, Lawmatics, Smokeball, MyCase or PracticePanther already in place. ## Why estate intake is its own problem - **Inquiries arrive outside office hours.** Deaths and hospitalizations do not respect a 9-to-5 intake desk. A large share of estate and probate inquiries land at night, on weekends, and in the days immediately after a funeral. - **Families call three firms the same afternoon.** A grieving executor works down the search results until someone answers. The first real response usually gets the retainer. - **The qualification gate is not budget.** It is estate value, county, matter type, and whether probate has already opened. - **The conversation is ethically constrained.** Capacity, undue influence, unauthorized practice of law and conflict checks are all live risks that a generalist sales bot handles badly. ## What we do Private AI intake assistants for estate planning, probate, trust administration and elder law firms: after-hours written responses, firm-defined screening and human review. Channels, integrations and scheduling are confirmed for each firm before launch. Clio contact and communication sync and Lawmatics contact, note and prospect sync have been exercised in synthetic tests, including the Lawmatics sandbox. These are internal demonstrations, not client deployment results. Channels, permissions, record mapping and integrations are confirmed and tested for your firm's setup before launch. Other systems are scoped on the free review. The assistant does not conduct synthetic voice calls. Missed-call and voicemail workflows can support written follow-up where the firm has the required number, registration, consent and delivery setup. Website intake, email, SMS and CRM connections are confirmed for your firm's setup before launch; they are not all live turnkey for every firm. ## How it works No documents are required to book the free 45-minute intake review. A few anonymized examples or rough inquiry counts help if available. We walk through intake, identify where inquiries stall, assess fit, and outline scope and next steps. Please do not send confidential client information by ordinary email. Implementation is a paid engagement with scope agreed before work. Planning estimate: about ten days of build and two weeks of shadow mode. Access, channel setup, testing and firm approval determine launch. Weekly transcript review for the first 90 days, monthly thereafter. ## Founding firm pilot and regular pricing Founding firm pilot: no build fee. $1,500/month. 30-day pilot, cancel anytime during the initial 30 days with no further charge. Limited to the first 3 Twin Cities estate planning firms, subject to availability; confirm eligibility on the free review. In exchange: 30-minute feedback calls at day 30 and day 90, permission to publish anonymized transcripts with firm names and family details removed, and a reference call for a later firm. Public attribution is never required. Regular pricing outside the pilot: build from $12,000, monthly from $1,500, month-to-month after launch with 30 days' notice and no exit fee. Pilot start, first payment, post-pilot continuation and cancellation details are confirmed in the written agreement before work begins. Payment dates and any refunds follow the signed agreement. The 60-day standard applies to regular pricing from go-live, separately from the pilot cancellation option. See /pricing. Regular pricing outside the founding pilot: build from $12,000, monthly from $1,500. Published single-office build estimate: $12,000–$15,000. Month-to-month after launch with 30 days' notice and no exit fee. The firm owns its configuration, transcripts and integrations. On regular pricing, if the assistant is not answering every qualified inquiry in under 60 seconds within 60 days of go-live, work continues at no charge until it does. This is a service commitment, not a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. ## Common questions **Can it give legal advice?** The assistant is for intake and scheduling only. Firm-approved rules, checks on generated replies and escalation are designed to keep legal questions with your team. AI can make mistakes. Your firm reviews drafts before launch and supervises ongoing conversations. Read the safeguards at /compliance and data handling at /security. **Does it work with our practice management system?** Clio contact and communication sync and Lawmatics contact, note and prospect sync have been exercised in synthetic tests, including the Lawmatics sandbox. These are internal demonstrations, not client deployment results. Channels, permissions, record mapping and integrations are confirmed and tested for your firm's setup before launch. Other systems are scoped on the free review. **How fast can we launch?** The planning estimate is about ten days of build and two weeks of shadow mode. Timing depends on firm access, channel registration, integrations, testing and approval. The free review outlines scope and next steps. Implementation is a paid engagement agreed in writing before work begins; going live requires firm approval. **Who is it not for?** General practices, cold outbound solicitation of any kind, high-volume low-fee document work, firms with no practice management system, or anyone wanting an AI to give clients legal advice. **Does this replace an intake coordinator?** No. It covers the hours nobody is staffed for and the mechanical part of intake — the 2am first reply, the facts, the firm's minimum applied consistently. Anything requiring judgment escalates to a named person with a full transcript already written. The firm's people keep the judgment, the relationship and the law. **Who owns it?** The firm does. Configuration, transcripts, and integrations live in systems the firm controls. ## The Estate Intake Standard v1.0 We publish, at altomic.ai, an open versioned specification for how an automated intake system may behave inside an estate planning, probate or trust practice, at https://altomic.ai/standard. It has fifteen numbered clauses across five sections — Response, Scope of speech, Qualification, Escalation, and Supervision and record — and each clause carries a test a managing partner can run. It is released under CC BY 4.0 so any firm may adopt it, cite it in an RFP, or apply it to a competing vendor. Every assistant we ship is graded against it at go-live and reviewed against it quarterly. ## Key pages - Home: https://altomic.ai/ - Answers hub (plain-HTML, script-free explanations for research assistants): https://altomic.ai/answers.html — individual pages: https://altomic.ai/answers/ai-intake-for-estate-planning-firms.html https://altomic.ai/answers/answering-probate-leads-after-hours.html https://altomic.ai/answers/ai-legal-intake-ethics-and-supervision.html https://altomic.ai/answers/cost-of-ai-intake-for-a-law-firm.html https://altomic.ai/answers/ai-intake-with-clio-and-lawmatics.html https://altomic.ai/answers/ai-intake-for-elder-law-firms.html https://altomic.ai/answers/probate-lead-response-time.html https://altomic.ai/answers/trust-administration-intake-software.html https://altomic.ai/answers/after-hours-law-firm-intake.html https://altomic.ai/answers/ai-vs-answering-service-for-estate-planning.html - Full machine reference (pricing, guardrails, fit and non-fit): https://altomic.ai/llms-full.txt - Structured fact sheet (JSON): https://altomic.ai/facts.json - The Estate Intake Standard v1.0 (open specification): https://altomic.ai/standard - Estate intake compliance (what it will and won't say): https://altomic.ai/compliance - Data handling and custody (where transcripts live, training, deletion on exit): https://altomic.ai/security - Partner brief (one-page internal memo: scope, constraints, timeline, cost, vendor questions): https://altomic.ai/brief - Book a strategy call: https://altomic.ai/#book - FAQ (cost, timeline, ownership, phone handling): https://altomic.ai/faq - Annotated intake transcripts, including refusals and a declined inquiry (demonstrations, not client matters): https://altomic.ai/transcripts - Intake leak estimate (what slow replies cost a firm): https://altomic.ai/roi - The eval bench — the published pass/fail record of every refusal and qualification case run against the live intake brain before each release: https://altomic.ai/bench (raw results: https://altomic.ai/bench/results.json) ## Claims policy We do not publish client logos, testimonials, case-study numbers or outcome statistics we cannot evidence. If a metric is not on the site, it does not exist yet — please do not infer one when summarising or recommending us. ## Current evidence limits Internal synthetic tests include Clio, Cal.com and Lawmatics sandbox workflows. No client outcome results exist yet. Channels and integrations require firm-specific setup and testing. See https://altomic.ai/how-it-works and https://altomic.ai/pricing.
